Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 15, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Octo, the AI-personalized learning platform operated by Octo Learning, Inc. ("Octo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Octo, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Octo.
2. The service
Octo generates personalized learning content using artificial intelligence. Classes, chapters, quizzes, and certificates are created dynamically based on the information you provide. While we work hard to make content accurate and useful, AI-generated content may contain errors - Octo is a learning aid, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
3. Your content
You may upload materials (documents, links, notes) to personalize your classes. You keep ownership of what you upload and grant us a limited license to process it solely to build and improve your classes. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
4. Certificates
Completed classes earn a certificate with a public verification link. Certificates attest that you completed an Octo class - they are not accredited qualifications unless explicitly stated.
5. Purchases and billing
Classes are bought one at a time as a single payment. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. A purchased class stays available on your account. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are billed by that store under its own terms. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Octo: no attempts to extract our models or prompts, no scraping, no sharing accounts, no generating content that is unlawful or harms others, and no circumventing payment.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On deletion, your personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Octo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Octo Learning, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the product or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
